Futura Plus is the largest domestic chain of kiosks and the largest distributor of printed media in the region. The company operates 900 kiosks and corner shops. They have their own distribution from 200 delivery vehicles with which they deliver daily delivery of goods to over 2,000 retail outlets, both in their own network and outside customers. Futura Plus is also developing its development on continuous investment in new technologies and information systems, which provide its customers with a wide range of services. For the purposes of such development, Futura Plus has demanded a POS system that can ensure that the kiosk becomes a multifunctional retail facility.


The Integral Information System Project in Futura Plus has taken place in several stages. The first phase encompassed the implementation of the central ERP system asw: dominus which covered all business functions (management of merchandise, finance, bookkeeping, calculation of salaries and personnel records and asset management). A particularly important segment relates to the management and control of 12 regional centers from which own and external retail outlets are supplied. The second phase, the realization of an integral information system, included the implementation of the business intelligence system asw: sapiens. This system has enabled managers at all levels of decision making to monitor the implementation of plans and perform detailed analysis of a large number of data. In the third phase, Futura Plus is implementing the asw: mercantis retail management system that is fully integrated with the central asp: dominus ERP system. Complete integration enables the company to fully control its retail network from the company's headquarters and to plan supply based on accurate and up-to-date sales and inventory data. Implementation of the system has enabled increasing efficiency in the process of ordering and distributing goods and maintaining optimal inventories.
