Description

Company Voli d.o.o. the system is one of the largest retail chains in Montenegro. At the time of the implementation of the asw solution, there were 10 retail Voli facilities in the ranking of supermarkets to the hypermarket. Further development of the company demanded better information support in all segments. Today, 3 years after the implementation of the asw solution, Voli Trade d.o.o. owns 25 retail outlets in its network, with a further growth trend. The main objective of the project was to introduce an integral information system that would allow for greater control and management of all resources. For the needs of top management, a system for business intelligence planning and analysis was implemented.

Realisation

The realization of this project included the phase implementation of the subsystem in accordance with the priorities defined by the user. Within the first phase of the project, asw: dominus, a central ERP system with subsystems for wholesale, accounting, finance and human resources monitoring, has been successfully implemented. The second phase of the project included the implementation of the asw: mercantis system for tracking retail processes as well as the implementation of asw: pontis solutions for the transmission and synchronization of data between retail facilities and the central system. After the implementation of asw: mercantis solutions in two retail facilities, the company's IT team Voli successfully took over the further process of end-user training and the installation of the system on other POSs. The third phase of the project included the implementation of asw: sapiens solutions, business intelligence planning and analysis systems across all business segments. The complete project was completed in four months. After the introduction of the asw solution, the company Voli Trade d.o.o. has accurate and up-to-date information about inventories and sales in all of its profit centers, thus the ability to upgrade all business processes of the company and achieve greater profitability based on timely information. Analyzes obtained from the business intelligence system asw: sapiens, management used to track profitability by different criteria and make quality decisions for further business development. At the beginning of 2010, renowned auditing company KPMG audited the business of Voli Trade and concluded that the company uses a good information system.
