Description

Telekom Srpske a.d. Banja Luka is one of the three national telecom operators in Bosnia and Herzegovina operating in an increasingly dynamic market, offering state-of-the-art telecommunication services in the field of mobile and fixed telephony, the Internet and data transmission. In order to successfully follow the world trends and the latest technological achievements in the field of telecommunications, it was necessary to set up such an integral system that would enable monitoring of all aspects of business, with sufficient openness and scalability (growth of the system without restriction). Today, m: tel achieves notable business results with over 1,600,000 subscribers and users of all services.

Realisation

The project of introducing the Billing solution in m: tel has run several phases. The first phase involved the introduction of an initial billing solution. The second phase encompassed the development and implementation of a complete asw: credis system which, in addition to accounting, included support for the formation and monitoring of the user network, a configurable tariff system, data collection from network elements, printing and distribution of accounts for services and products, billing monitoring, etc. The system features the maximum level of automation and control of the calculation and payment of products and services for a large number of users. As an integral part of the system, Call Center module was implemented as a service for customer relationship management, whose satisfaction is m: tel and oriented. The implemented billing system is an integrated ERP system - asw: dominus. In this way, automated payment records and closing of account items in the billing system are enabled, which ensures increased productivity and efficiency of work. For advanced analysis and planning, the business intelligence system asw: sapiens was implemented. The analysis system is used at different levels of management, from making strategic decisions to monitoring all business parameters and determining interdependence. The business intelligence system is used as a basis for defining different tariff packages, introducing new services, network unloading, analyzing the behavior of groups of users, monitoring the realization of the plan by organizational units, the type of revenue, time, regions, etc. Company m: tel, which operates in an extremely dynamic and competitive market, makes its advantage by making quick decisions based on quality information obtained from the information system.
